PNGCrush is a little tool that optimises PNG files by ‘reducing the size of the IDAT datastream’, ‘removing unwanted ancillary chunks’, ‘adding gAMA chunks’, etc. which are obviously just words and acronyms made up by the author so he can pick up chicks at dinner parties.
